As part of the launch of the new
Capitanes CDMX application, the software development agency
XoloStudios asked me to work on a proposal that would improve the experience of its development version.
For this, I was in direct communication with the person in charge of the project so that he could share his
vision of the product with me and I could work on something that, in addition to benefiting the end user experience, would satisfy the needs of the business.
Since the project was already underway, improvements had to be made that would not drastically impact its structure. To identify these improvements, the application was subjected to a
heuristic evaluation under the Sirius model, the platform reached a percentage of
74.28%, which placed it as a platform with a good degree of usability, however, it was necessary to work on
small structure adjustments. and a little more in aesthetics, which would undoubtedly have a positive impact on said score.
The improvement proposal was based on the observations and recommendations that were presented in the Heuristic Analysis, as well as on the image of the basketball team, its communication and the content on its social networks, all of the above in order to reinforce the spirit of the team within the design of the platform, standardize communication channels and reinforce the sense of belonging among its fans.
